Class Policies and Procedures

  • Age Minimum - Our classes have a minimum age requirement of eighteen years.

  • Refunds - No refunds are given once the course has been purchased.

  • Structure of class - This is a class. It is not therapy and it is not a therapy group.

  • ZOOM Attendance - We ask that participants arrive on time and stay for the entire length of the class in order to not disrupt the experience of other participants. Since the class is being held online via Zoom, please consider the following:
    1) Consider attending class as if you were coming to class in-person (for example, being somewhat thoughtful about clothes choices, location from which to view class from).

    2) We ask participants to have their video on throughout the class so we can all engage as a community. You are an important part of the group!
    3) If possible, find a location in your home where you won’t be interrupted and others are not able to hear the discussion with your classmates (earphones are a good way to do that). Since students sometimes share some personal thoughts, it’s ideal for us to keep those shares within the context of the class participants. If you want to keep your background screen private, there are some great Zoom virtual backgrounds you can use to keep your area private and keep the focus on you.

  • Participation - The course instructor reserves the right to refuse to register or to dismiss from the class without refund anyone who engages in disruptive or otherwise unacceptable behavior, including the use of recreational drugs or alcohol during the class session.

  • Liability - Participants freely and knowingly assume all risk incidental to participating in the class.  Participants understand and accept that the instructors are not responsible for injury to persons or property related to participation in class. As a participant, you here by agree to indemnify, release, and hold harmless the instructors, or agents from any liability arising out of or related to any activity, illness, accident, or incident in class and/or in the class Zoom event.
